Creating Thinkers and Makers in the Age of AI
We teach AI throughout PK–12 because today’s students will live, learn, and work alongside intelligent systems and they deserve the skills to use them safely and thoughtfully. Early, age-appropriate exposure builds critical thinking (questioning outputs, checking bias, citing sources), creativity (using AI to brainstorm, prototype and iterate), and responsible digital citizenship (privacy, consent, attribution). A spiral pathway ensures every learner can progress from “what AI is and isn’t” in primary to evaluating trade-offs and designing simple AI-powered solutions in secondary.
